THE               STORY

When I was a young fella, my family and I were always off for four-wheel driving and camping; I've always had a love for the outdoors and camping. At 17, I began my electrical apprenticeship but focused mainly on mining equipment. Every opportunity we had, my mates and I would travel up the coast, camping at places Seal Rocks, Crescent Head, or Byron Bay.

I eventually purchased a 2010 Toyota Hiace, and initially fitted it out with just a bed and an eski for food and drinks but I knew I could definitely improve the setup. After several trips away with the bare minimum, I installed a dual battery system to power a fridge and some lights. It gradually became a hobby to fit out friends and family's utes and vans. This is where I discovered my passion for creating off-grid systems.

A close friend of mine and I would often discuss starting electrical companies, brainstorming amusing names for them. He suggested 'ACDARCY', and it's been a name I've stuck with ever since.

For a while, I juggled full-time work and fitting out electrical systems on the side on the side, dedicating weekends and days off until one day, I decided to pursue my passion full-time.
